Western Disturbances to Bring Rain, Hail to Northwest India
IMD issued orange and yellow alerts for Delhi, predicting heavy rain, thunderstorms, and lightning. Western disturbances are weather phenomena originating from the Mediterranean region that bring unseasonal rainfall to northwest India. Two successive Western disturbances are impacting northwest India, with peak activity expected on April 3-4 and again on April 7.
